The consortium participated by HIDRIA has been shortlisted for the AfD funded project: “Demonstration Project on biodiversity Conservation and utilization in Maoli Lake National Wetland Park (China)».

The Project seeks to safeguarding biodiversity and its ecosystem services of Maoli Lake, through wetland Conservation and restoration, development an integrated lake watershed management strategies and mechanisms to mitigate climate change.

Over the past years HIDRIA has been increasingly looking towards Asia as an area of great interest and it has already developed some projects in areas such as Nepal or the Maldives.
