Patricia Elola
Senior consultant with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience in various areas related to tourism and sustainability. She has worked as a consultant primarily for companies and entities in the environmental sector and has provided training to businesses in sustainability and environmental education. She has participated in projects related to the sustainable management of tourism in protected natural areas (European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, ECST): Preparation of the candidacy of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia for ECST; Accompaniment and training for companies to adhere to the ECST in natural parks (Cabo de Gata-Nijar NP, Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia NP, Ebro Delta NP, etc.); Verification (Certified verifier by the Europarc Federation) of the CETS in NPs (Monfragüe, Cap de Creus, Urdaibai, Montseny, …); Support services for conducting an analysis of the state of the art of tourist destinations where sun and beach are the core of their tourist attractiveness.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and has a Master’s degree in Business Internationalization and one in Secondary Education, specializing in Biology and Geology. She has life and work experience abroad, where she has lived for 8 years (USA, Italy, Vietnam, and the Netherlands). Proficient in Spanish, English, and Galician, with an intermediate level of Italian and French.
