Paula Cabrera
Consultant specialised in territorial and tourism planning, environmental management and local development, with fifteen years of experience in the tourism sector, having worked in different companies and multidisciplinary teams in Spain, Ireland, Italy and Switzerland. Among other projects, she has participated in the evaluation of the planning of cross-border natural areas focused on sustainable tourism development, in the certification of protected areas and in the development of strategic planning of destinations. She has also carried out stakeholder participation tasks and has extensive experience in the field of university teaching and tourism training.
She has a degree in Geography with a specialisation in territorial management and planning and a diploma in Tourism; Master’s degree in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management from the University of Barcelona. She has developed several regional studies and official publications related to climate change and natural risks, and has participated in international congresses and research projects on natural areas.
